Most would describe me as a dedicated teacher, mentor, and lifelong language enthusiast. But in reality, I am so much more than that—and so are you.

I am Señor Brigs, a fully accredited native Spanish teacher with decades of experience. Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching Spanish to an incredible variety of people—from eager school kids to accomplished professionals—all united by a desire to connect through language. My passion for teaching goes beyond grammar and vocabulary; it's about unlocking confidence and empowering others to communicate in ways they never thought possible.

Society often tries to put us in boxes, but language has taught me that our potential is limitless. Learning a new language is more than just acquiring words—it's discovering parts of yourself you didn't know existed.

MY STORY

Hola, amigos! I’m Señor Brigs, a passionate Spanish teacher with a heart full of wanderlust, a love for culture, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of language. Teaching Spanish isn't just a career for me—it’s a calling, a lifelong adventure, and an absolute joy.

I’ve dedicated decades to mastering my craft, earning my qualifications across South America, Spain, and Australia. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse educational settings: as a language aide for the government, as a teacher in both elementary and secondary schools, and as a dedicated instructor for the Victorian School of Languages. In 2013, I was honored to be sent by the Australian government to Salamanca, Spain—a dream for any Spanish teacher! There, I was recognized as an outstanding educator, and it’s a memory that fills me with pride to this day.

But my journey doesn’t stop there. My mission to promote Spanish extends far beyond the classroom. I’ve worked tirelessly to share the beauty of the language and culture not only in Australia but across the globe. Today, I’ve embraced the digital age, bringing my lessons and passion to the vibrant world of social media, where I connect with learners from all walks of life.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me indulging in some of my other passions. I love traveling to new places and soaking in the cultures and languages of the world. Flamenco guitar has a special place in my heart, and there’s nothing like listening to the timeless classics of Luis Miguel to brighten my day. I’m also an astronomy enthusiast (the stars are always calling!) and an animal lover who believes our furry friends make the world a better place.

For me, teaching Spanish is more than just sharing grammar rules and vocabulary—it’s about opening doors to new experiences, creating meaningful connections, and inspiring confidence in my students. Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide, support, and cheer you on every step of the way.
